Description

This genus is a fraction of the genus Encylia with 59 members of the orchid species. The genus is separated from the genus Encylia because some differences in the inflorescence. Inflorescence of this genus comes from the green spathe

Distribution

-The species is found on the coast, at least on the States of Bahia, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, in these cases growing on coastal forest by the sea. The forest grows on sandy soil and it looks basically ,althought found in another place in central of amazon this orcid species most found around brazilia
